New Delhi – Royal Challengers Bengaluru and Indian pacer Yash Dayal has come under serious allegations from a 25-year-old woman in Ghaziabad, who claims he emotionally, physically, and financially exploited her under the pretext of marriage over a five-year relationship.
The Allegations
The woman initially filed her complaint through the Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister’s Integrated Grievance Redressal System (IGRS) on June 14, after local police authorities allegedly failed to take action.
Her FIR accuses Dayal of misleading her with promises of marriage, introducing her to his family, and behaving like a husband without any formal commitment. She further alleges financial dependence, emotional abuse, and harassment, particularly when she confronted him about his alleged infidelity.
The Evidence and Escalation
The woman states that she has submitted compelling evidence including chat logs, screenshots from video calls, photos, and testimonials from other women who reportedly experienced similar treatment.
She also revealed that on April 17, another woman came forward with evidence of a relationship with Dayal. This was followed by at least three other women making similar allegations, citing financial misuse, joint transactions, and hotel stays in Lucknow.
Police Action
Ghaziabad police have now issued a formal notice to Yash Dayal, requiring him to submit a statement by July 21.
According to ACP Abhishek Srivastava, a full investigation is underway following orders from the Chief Minister's office.
